The Sumeria Group is looking for interns that will assist the Sumeria Executive Team in the development/maintenance of brand partnerships as Sumeria continues to advance its initiatives in five different cities across the country. This is an excellent opportunity for interns looking to take on large amounts of responsibility at a high-growth, exciting start-up organization.
Interns will gain exposure to all aspects of Sumeria, with a particular focus on developing brand partnerships for the company, its events and its overall initiatives. Interns will assist Sumeria's executive team in our five different cities, including New York, Boston, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.
Create new brand partnerships
Help support existing brand relationships
Attend networking events, attend site visits, perform marketing tactics, email outreach and ad hoc research, among other tasks.
This is an ideal internship for undergrads looking to learn about the start-up/social impact space, create relationships, have fun, and be part of the next big thing!
Candidates must be entrepreneurially minded, very outgoing, and eager to learn about a variety of different industries.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a MUST. Interns should be comfortable speaking on the phone, communicating quickly and professionally via email, and conducting themselves in a social setting.
Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google.
Commission will be paid out for all new partnerships landed and there will be a bonus structure.
A stipend covering meal and transportation costs will be provided, if course credit cannot be obtained.
Each intern will be paired with a Sumeria network member mentor in the industry (or industries) of their choice.
Any costs or admission associated with any events, meetings, or social gatherings will be paid for.
