Social commerce startup based in Brazil starting operations in the US is looking for a business development manager to develop its partner ecosystem.
Introduction
We are looking for an experienced, high energy, self-motivated professional with proven business development experience to lead the development of our US business. The position will play a pivotal role on developing and executing market-entry strategy, driving new partnerships and supporting partnership implementations. The position will be located in US, preferably in NY
Responsibilities
Lead development of business development strategy for the market
Be the "local" expert in analyzing new partnership opportunities
Support contract negotiation and be local liaison with partners, be on-the-ground key account manager to ensure successful partnership
Identify gaps and propose solutions to improve partnerships execution in the publishing industry
Experience
Proven record of “making things happen”
Relevant experience in the Internet online, publishing, e-commerce and/or social networking field
Extensive US Internet and/or publishing market knowledge
Strong analytical, negotiating skills and experience of negotiating/liaising at any level mandatory
Ability to identify contacts and establish relationships and develop partnerships with publishers.
Prior experience in product marketing functions desirable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and presentations
Strong multi-tasking skills, experience team working within a geographical dispersed organization desired
