Overview
Project Fixup is looking for two smart, motivated, rockstar interns to join our team in Chicago for the summer. We want people who are excited to contribute to a just-launched-but-already-awesome startup that is poised to transform the way people meet and date.

A little more about us: Project Fixup is a new kind of dating startup. There are no profiles, no messages, no scheduling. Instead, we fix you up with an interesting person we think you’d like to meet and a fun date to go on (e.g. late night improv at Second City) so you can meet in person and see if there is a spark. We’re bringing the human element back into meeting people so you can spend your time connecting with a new person instead of interacting with your computer. It’s great dates with less work.
Our approach to growth is to engage the social and dating scene throughout the city of Chicago. We’re looking for outgoing, energetic and creative individuals who are passionate about meeting entertainment venue owners, talking to individuals about their dating and relationship experiences and improving the way we use technology to meet and date new people.
This is a great opportunity for you to get in on the ground floor of building and being part of a young startup poised for quick expansion and growth.

Responsibilities
Identify great bars, coffee shops, music venues, and comedy clubs that you think would be good venues for various fixup projects
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with the managers at aforementioned great spots by meeting with them, explaining the value of being a host for fixups, and jointing developing a marketing plan to spread the word about their participation
Develop mutually beneficial revenue generating opportunities with these fixup hosts
Help shape the overall Project Fixup business development strategy as we scale, including developing and implementing additional revenue strategies
Experience
Ideally rising juniors, seniors, recent college grads, or pre-MBA students.
Compensation
Unpaid, college credit. There will also be opportunities to join the team in a larger capacity after the summer for qualified individuals who are interested.
