Group it NRG is a startup company focused on the aggregation and auction of electricity in deregulated energy markets. Our innovative business model will provide cost saving solutions for energy consumers by solving a priority customer need in energy markets.
In this position, you will be responsible for market research and developing potential partnerships to gain access to a network of clients.
Market research includes but is not limited to defining marketing strategy, reaching out to foothold customers, and understand the strengths (and weaknesses) of competition. You will responsible for understanding and projecting key metrics such as cost of customer acquisition, customer lifetime value, etc.
The first step to developing potential partnerships is to understand the electricity market. The second is the synthesis of this understanding in a way that is valuable to our customers. The third step will be to prepare business development client list, make calls/email and make documents for client pitches.
You will be working directly with the co-founders and the lead web-site developer of the company in order to complete these tasks.
Basic experience with sales or business development
Photoshop/Indesign/Illustrator is a plus
Interest in the energy industry
You're sharp, motivated, organized, and innovative.
Access to a basic laptop/desktop
Ability to commit at minimum 15-20 hours a week with full time being the preference
We value creative thinkers that are self-motivated. Being in a top college is a plus but it's certainly not required.
