Business Development Lead

Overview
Blinking Diode is looking for a strategic and analytical sales person to grow our client engagements.
Responsibilities
Pitching and closing prospective clients at all stages in the sales cycle
Cold calling and meeting with prospective clients
Gathering market and client information
Researching new leads
Leading online sales outreach and influence new materials (pitch decks, email marketing)
Presenting our services in a professional way across various modes of communcation (face to face, email, teleconference, telephone)
Listening to client requirements, answer questions, and communicate our service model effectively
Negotiating the agreement terms, closing, and transitioning to internal teams
Attending conferences, panels and networking events on behalf of BD
Experience
1-3 years in a sales/biz dev role for a technology company or digital marketing firm
Have pitched successfully and closed business with top-tier clientele
Have helped conceptualize sales materials
Worked cross functionally with internal teams to pitch clients accurately and manage expectations on both sides of the deal
Rolodex of contacts across at 20-50mm businesses
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding negotiation skills
Understanding of technology and/or digital marketing a plus
Compensation
