The Business Development Manager at Castlight Health will ideally be based in the Bay Area and help build a new business line for the company – selling our solution to health plans. This person will lead direct revenue generating activities and will have full responsibility for the procurement and development of accounts. This is a quota-carrying role, responsible for sales from initial lead through close.
The BD Manager will identify new market opportunities, set strategic priorities, develop operational plans, and successfully build new markets. 75-85% national travel
Preference giving to candidates currently based or willing to relocate to the Bay Area preferred. We are not offering a relocation package for this position.
4-7 years of sales, management consulting, and/or business development experience
Proven track record driving new business, within this space, and revenue generation
Health benefits industry experience required; Existing industry relationships and experience with health plans a huge plus
Experience in selling new customer business as well as managing large, complex accounts
Experience in early stage companies in quickly evolving markets preferred
Effective presentation skills and demonstrated experience developing relationships with high-level executives
• BA/BS required. Graduate degree preferred.
