Business Development Manager

Pelican Imaging is looking for a Business Development Manager with excellent relationship building and execution skills to drive adoption of our array camera platform in many markets and applications.
Research and identify customer prospects in multiple markets worldwide
Find key stakeholders at target accounts and develop relationships at all levels
Gain understanding of customer requirements and develop proposals for compelling solutions
Fluently evangelize our value proposition and competitive advantages vs alternative depth enabled imaging approaches
Advocate for customers with internal Pelican teams
Respond to RFQs from potential customers in all markets
Drive business development process from initial engagement to deal closure
Work with Pelican ecosystem partners on joint promotion to customers
Work closely with internal teams on customer needs
5+ years of business development experience in software and/or consumer products, preferably in the camera or mobile markets
Excellent people and management skills to interact with customers, partners, colleagues, and cross-functional teams
Proven track record of developing business and closing deals
Collaborative leadership skills
International travel
Fluency in Mandarin and previous experience in a startup environment a plus
Computer Science or Engineering degree
