As Business Development Manager, you will own customer acquisition in your city and drive consumer adoption of Handybook’s services. Work will be diverse and fast paced. This is an amazing hands-on opportunity for self-starters who get things done, and are looking for rapid career advancement. You are at the intersection of outgoing and analytical - comfortable speaking to anybody, while able to discern their specific needs and how Handybook can help.
Engaging local influencers and businesses to help spread Handybook adoption
Identifying strategic local partnership opportunities
Attending and speaking at events and meetups as the face of Handybook
Leading and recruiting an on-ground marketing team
Experience in an operational or sales role is valued, but not necessary.
Strong communication skills, fluent in English
Knowledge about the city and your own transportation is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Self-starters who enjoy doing hands-on work
Ability to lead teams effectively
Degree from a 4 year university
