Responsibilities
Become personally and professionally embedded within assigned markets, prospecting relationships inside and outside the office and evangelizing Applico
Collaborate with and align Strategy, Product and Engineering teams, understanding their needs and constraints while negotiating complex deals
Using client key business metrics and objectives as the basis, structure and lead the execution of strategic partnership initiatives leveraging Applico’s capabilities, resources, and offerings
Distill client ideas to actionable goals, and convert those goals to sales
Establish and meet monthly and annual revenue goals
Maintain direct, day-to-day, cross-functional, senior-level prospect contacts who are already recognized as global leaders in their respective fields
Manage and mentor Business Development Associates
Attend weekly New Business Team meetings and report on goals and accomplishments to the team
Develop new business project/RFP Job Launch Briefs
Assure all required deliverables are presented to prospects on time and on budget and are of a high standard of excellence
Experience
Related industry experience in a business development, strategy, corporate innovation, or entrepreneurial role
Demonstrated passion for technology and its use in driving revenue, client satisfaction and efficiency
Current and thorough understanding of consumer internet, enterprise, mobile, and connected technologies
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, analytical, communication, operational, and creative problem-solving skills
Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement
Experience working closely and collaboratively with product and engineering teams and understanding their needs and constraints while negotiating complex deals
Ability to work well in a flexible, dynamic work environment including travel to events and client sites
Education
* Graduate degree in a related business or technology field preferred
