Social commerce startup based in Brazil starting operations the US is looking for a business development manager to develop its partner ecosystem.
We are looking for an experienced, high energy, self-motivated professional with proven business development experience to lead the development of our US business. The position will play a pivotal role on developing and executing market-entry strategy, driving new partnerships, supporting regional marketing, PR and business execution, product launches and business planning activities. The position will be located in US.
Participate in country business development strategy
Be the "local" expert in analyzing new partnership opportunities,
Support contract negotiation and be local liaison to managing partner relationships
Be on-the-ground key account managers to ensure success partnership
Monitor market dynamics in the region/country to improve competitive strategy, advise the company team in refining go-to-market and product development strategy
Be country level customer and partner advocate, funnel requirements to regional market development team in response to changing local market needs.
Identify gaps and offer solution input to improve regionalization business process, resource planning as needed.
Pre-requisite Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Hands on experience in to “make things happen”
Relevant experience in the Internet online, e-commerce and/or social networking field desired
Extensive Internet or e-commerce market knowledge of US is a must
Strong analytical, negotiating skills and experience of negotiating/liaising at any level mandatory
Ability to identify contacts and establish relationships and develop partnerships with companies, individuals & institutions/associations, PR agencies
Prior experience in product marketing functions highly desirable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and presentation is a must
Strong multi-tasking skills and experience in working within a geographical dispersed organization desired
