Responsibilities
Develop prospect relationships within assigned markets
Establish and meet monthly and annual sales goals
Maintain direct, day to day, senior level prospect contacts
Work in a proactive manner to provide the prospect with thought leadership and strategic guidance, determining the best solutions to fulfill the needs of the opportunity
Attend weekly New Business Team meetings and report on goals and accomplishments to the team
Assist in the development of new business sales tools
Develop new business project/RFP Job Launch Briefs
Communicate goals and specifics to team members
Review and approve all material going to prospects
Assure all required deliverables are presented to prospects on time and on budget and are of a high standard of excellence
Presents and effectively sells material to prospects
Experience
Demonstrated sales skills and ability
Excellent interpersonal skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and stand-up presentation skills
Demonstrated process management and leadership skills
Demonstrated creative problem solving and analytical skills
Strong understanding of database marketing, direct marketing and the creative development process
Ability to work well in a flexible, dynamic work environment
BA/BS Marketing, Business, or Communication degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
