Responsibilities
Actively source and open new doors for prospective business
Prospect and prequalify client inbound and cultivated business opportunities Write and present customized proposals/presentations
Pitch and close new business on a regular basis
Seek out and attend targeted conferences and events appropriate to target audience
Coordinate with marketing and design resources to prepare presentations and proposals
Legal and contract coordination
New business management and operational support for sold through engagements
Experience
3-5 years Business Development experience with business and marketing decision maker contacts at Consumer Brands
Skills
Ability to initiate and sell programs through to different level decision makers
Exceptional negotiation, written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with insight driven, solutions based selling and network driven sales
Strong understanding and interest in the tech start-up environment (especially in NYC) Interest and experience in Branding and Marketing with a focus on the Digital Proactive self-starter with fierce analytical and organizational capabilities
Emotional intelligence and strong relationship building skills
Common sense, critical thinking, and problem solving instincts
Roll-up-the-sleeves team player who is not afraid to try new things
