Business Development / Sales Intern

EvenSale ( ) We are looking for a Business Development / Sales Intern to assist our sales team in building relationships with customers. In this position, you will learn the fundamentals of prospecting, lead qualification, and deal steps to closure. You will be working directly with the Director of Sales to source new partnerships and close deals around the world.
This internship position reports to the Director of Sales and the Manager of Business Development. Other duties will include administrative tasks, and assisting the associates and executive team as needed. Responsibilities include:
Attending networking events related to entrepreneurship and innovation to identify potential partners and sponsors
Researching and identifying potential sales opportunities
Generating content for partnership proposals
Communication between existing, potential, and new customers
Helping generate buzz and new partners related to expansion opportunities
Minimum commitment of 2 days per week (at least 16 hours per week)
Strong interest in exploring new software and computer environments and technologies.
Current Grade Point Average of 3.4 or above on a 4.0 scale
Must have completed freshman year
Strong organizational and communication skills are required
Ability to effectively learn and communicate
