We prefer to find a candidate who is looking for a full time opportunity but will consider a part time or contract professional role to start that might grow into a full time roll. This position can be done virtually from anywhere in the U.S.
We are at a pre-seed funding stage so compensation will consist of deferred cash or a combination of deferred cash and equity when funding occurs.
Interpret research and analytics to make strategic content decisions.
Be able to conceptualize the vision of company and develop it into written materials. This includes but is not limited to blogs, white papers, brochures, newsletters, emails, investor presentations and website content.
Collaborate with designers, developers and programmers to create a “best in class” user experience.
Research, find and negotiate with guest bloggers who write on issues topical to the equitylancer community to include on our site.
Develop outreach strategies that will help promote EquityLancer’s value proposition to include but not be limited to press releases, webinars, downloadable guides and tools, speaking engagements, and promotion of EquityLancer material on related sites, etc.
Write and edit clear, consistent content for various digital channels (ecommerce sites, interactive discussion platforms, social media etc.) to maximize audience value, generate demand and improve conversion rates.
Develop brand style and content standards to be consistently followed across all messaging channels.
Drive quantitative and qualitative testing of content quality to identify and prioritize areas for improvement.
Support special projects as assigned.
3-5 years in prior content strategy or writing role
Experience with web analytics tools and ability to analyze data to make decisions.
Strong knowledge of content marketing and public relations
Strong use of social media best practices, SEO and SEM
Experience in email marketing
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently (possibly virtually) and within a team environment.
Strong leadership, negotiation, strategic thinking, and problem solving skills.
