Overview
Babafoo.com is a niche social networking/discovery website for the high school sports world. We've had a team in the Philippines working on our website for over a year and already have a fully developed product which we launched in October 2011. We are now looking for a part time web developer to update and edit new features for our website. You will be able to work part-time remotely and set your own schedule. Depending on how it goes, there is the possibility to be considered for our available CTO position.
Responsibilities
Facebook sharing feature on website
Update and edit new features on our website
Experience
Experience with Facebook Applications and API a MUST
Skills
JavaScript / HTML 5 / CSS / JQuery / PHP / Ajax
Facebook API and other social networking API, experience building applications for Facebook, mobile and web
Must have server-side scripting abilities, PHP (OOP) with MySQL integration at minimum
Knowledgeable in MVC frameworks such as CodeIgniter
A desire to problem-solve, think critically, learn, and adapt to any situation
Extensive knowledge of UI design methodology and processes (user centered and interactive design)
Strong, detail oriented communication skills
Ability to develop digital solutions according to budget and client need
Advanced understanding of emerging digital and web technologies
Ability to be extremely detail-oriented with strong commitment to cross-browser and cross-platform testing, troubleshooting and quality assurance.
