Overview
Do you want to build something significant, in world’s scale? The web has profoundly changed people’s lives and we aim to do the same on mobile. We’re building a cloud-based OS for mass-market mobile devices. The Blaast OS will be a real game-changer: it will bring developers together with operators while transforming regular phones into smart phones.
We’re a team of 15 young techies and experienced entrepreneurs, steered by people from some of the globe’s greatest start-ups. We come from Portugal, England, Indonesia and Finland and have experience in scaling world-class technology, innovating best-selling apps, building awesome Internet backend services and delivering mission critical systems to Millions of users.

Responsibilities
Designing and implementing key frontend components of our platform
Provide though-leadership in a high paced environment marked by ongoing iteration
Maintain ownership of large portions of the product
Skills
Having an impact from day one
Java, JavaScript and other scripting languages (Ruby, Python)
Deep HTTP understanding
HTTP API design and implementation
Web technologies: from HTML5 and CSS, to HTTP and RESTful interfaces
Distributed systems, asynchronous frameworks, concurrency and scalability
Good design, writing beautiful code
Picking up new languages and technologies
