Overview
Small Bizeo is a recently launched, fully funded company focused on providing relevant and hard-to-find information to potential franchisees and small business owners. The Company was launched in August, but the sister site, TheFranchiseHound.com, has been up since January of this year. Small Bizeo runs and operates both of these sites.
Small Bizeo is the only business-for-sale site that caters to the needs of small business buyers. Our premium members receive access to a comprehensive database of proprietary industry reports and franchise analysis documents that allow business buyers to make objective decisions and maximize return on investment. Unlike other sites that exist today, Small Bizeo works on behalf of the buyer. Today, Small Bizeo covers hundreds of different franchises that include over ten different industries.

Responsibilities
For our CTO, we’re looking for an individual to join on a member of the founding team. This individual would take over all responsibilities for managing the website. We’re looking for candidates that have superior interpersonal capabilities; strong work-ethic; strong written and verbal communications skills; self-motivation; as well as excellent attention to detail.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree
At least 4-6 years of industry-related experience
Solid computer skills with a proficiency in Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
Ability to work in a team environment
Demonstrated understanding of the latest web production and coding techniques, especially table-less design, CSS, XHTML andjava_script
Multi-tasking, organizational, decision-making and self-motivating skills
An understanding of web standards, browser compatibility, and compliance
Advances current job knowledge by researching new technologies, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
Experience with producing for websites that feature dynamic content such as that which is served from a content management system
Front End Developer, PHP, Web Developer, GUI, Web UI, HTML, XHTML, CSS, Ajax,java_script
Compensation
Negotiable, would include equity
