Then we have the job... Check that the career for you!! We are looking for a CTO/Founder to be the owner and visionary for a start-up social networking site dedicated to collectors of pretty much anything. We are offering substantial equity to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the overhaul of the existing beta site
Integrate all functionality enhancements currently in the pipe
Develop new cutting edge features for the site
Present to potential investors
Oversee all front-end and back-end design and development work
Experience
Previous experience developing large membership based e-commerce and social networking sites
Previous experience developing wireless apps
Previous management experience
Skills
Required - PHP, Facebook API, Actionscript, Javascript, AJAX, SQL, MySQL, XML, HTML 5.0, CSS
Nice-to-have - ASP, ASP.net, ruby, ruby on rails,joomla, python, java, objective C, C#, Cocoa, other open source front-end and back-end solutions
Education
BS in Computer Science
MS in Computer Science (preferred)
Compensation
The right candidate will receive 33% equity as compensation and pay for work done as agreed once first round funding is acquired.
