CTO / Full-Stack Engineer for Social Commerce Startup

We are a stealth social commerce startup building an amazing team to join us in fundamentally changing the way consumers discover and purchase high-end luxury products.

We are looking for a full-stack software engineer to join our founding team as CTO. We want someone who values being a self-starter, building elegant user interfaces and working within all parts of the stack. Our company is completely flat. You will have a high level of ownership and will work alongside the CEO in rapidly scaling our product discovery platform.

As a founding engineer and CTO, your work will have the opportunity to transform the product and reshape the luxury shopping experience.

This position is a great fit if you are entrepreneurial, enjoy constantly pushing code to production, and want to have a huge impact from day one at an early-stage startup.
Play a key role in shaping company's product strategy and vision
Prototype high-level ideas, implement new features and optimize existing ones across browser, tablet and mobile platforms
Collaborate with design team to build elegant and simple user experiences
Build tools and frameworks to simplify development
Experience with one or more programming languages (Ruby/Python/PHP)
Experience using HTML/CSS/Javascript/JQuery
Experience with scaling data using MySQL, Hadoop, etc.
Comfortable with APIs and building search, relevance and ranking algorithms
Passion for fashion and social e-commerce
Bachelor's in CS, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent programmming experience)
