Key Ingredient is looking for a passionate individual to help us build out our best-in-breed digital recipe platform. We have developed the world's first kitchen-safe digital recipe reader, The Demy (mydemy.com), that delivers eBook convenience for recipes in the kitchen.
Our vibrant community of amateur and family cooks currently share over 700,000 personal recipes alongside digital versions of best-selling recipes for sale from published cookbooks. We have laid the groundwork for some rapid growth.
This position is full time and a ground floor opportunity for the right candidate to become an officer in a company founded by successful, veteran, serial entrepreneurs.

As Architect, your work will be to design an application framework that will permit us to implement features quickly and deliver them as reliable services to our rapidly expanding community.
As Developer, your work will be to implement and direct the development of the code-base for the entire Key Ingredient platform.
2+ years OO C++ development experience.
Familiarity with Open Source frameworks and Tools.
Experience debugging, finding leaks, and optimizing code for speed.
Provable experience with GUIs.
Well versed in C++
Comfortable with cross platform GUI toolkits: wxWidgets or Qt
Ability to work independently AND be a collaborative, team player
Knowledge of HTTP standards
Familiarity with JSON, Sockets, XML, SQLite, Serial Communication
Familiar with IDEs/compilers on multiple platforms: GCC, Xcode, Visual Studio
Familiar with debuggers and leak checkers like GDB, Visual Studio, Purify, valgrind, etc.
