We are looking for a full time New York based developer excited by a start-up environment who will be the lead programmer responsible for system architecture and designing, developing, and enhancing our existing IT system (Web-application, Server and database), supporting our start-up peer-to-peer company business.
The ideal candidate should have experience in developing large scale web applications using .Net technologies.
Responsibilities
Design and develop modules for front and back end Web Applications and production systems
Maintain designs and existing code, including debugging and enhancements
Provide technical guidance, support and help to IT Developers
Meet with key user groups to gather business requirements
Deliver technical solutions to generic business problems
Propose technical solutions to business problems on a proactive basis
Experience
Minimum 3-4 years of development experience in some or all of the following: ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, PL/SQL, TSQL.
Skills
ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET> 2.0 and above – with C#, AJAX, User/Server Controls
JavaScript
N-Tier Architecture, solid understanding and experience in the different layers
SQL Server 2005 and above with SQL/Stored Procedures
Session state management
Data caching
Good object oriented design/methodology
Web Services
XML/XSLT
Experience with designing/architecting
Technical lead experience
Good communication skills
Education
* BS or greater in Computer Science (or comparable experience).
