Overview
The company is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic candidate with experience in category and consumer insight.The ideal applicant is experienced in a full range of sales category and consumer analytical responsibilities. Joining an intimate team of seven, you will wear many hats, and dive in to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment!
Responsibilities
Complete sales documentation (including customer set up, manage online systems to set up promo)
Document photos from field team and brokers
Record competitive info gathered in the field
Process sample requests
Provide supporting documents as needed following customer presentations
Provide documents, samples, and maintain files on broker databases
Implement a field marketing program, inclusive of team hiring and recruitment
Support existing accounts to create brand presence
Set up display opportunities with POS and other merchandising tools
Maintain shelf presence by controlling inventory at store level
Generate and analyze various sales performance, product sales, KPI’s and report on key insights on weekly basis
Update sales projections and report on insight based on sales forecast vs. actual numbers
Provide support to field sales organization as it relates to reports, CRM usage, business intelligence, sales activities and sales operations processes. .
Assist in the analysis of territory alignment and optimization.
Analyze and provide solutions for sales process inefficiencies.
Interface with key counterparts in Operations, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and IT
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years in sales support and sales analytics a must (preferably in CPG and retail/specialty trade channels)
Experience with interpreting syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Neilson, SPINS)
Experience working for a start-up / small company, a plus
Skills
Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills, including full competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
Attentive to detail, can-do attitude, tenacious, and organized
Education
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, in related field
