Responsible for conceptualisng the company’s marketing strategy.
Presenting the same to CEO and Board for approval.
Implementing the approved plans.
Leading from the front -- both initially when he/she would be an one-man (or one-woman) army and also later on, as the company grows, when he/she would have multiple subordinates reporting.
Setting up the marketing department in the later stage as mentioned above -- designing the marketing function organisation structure, recruiting, training, setting up marketing department systems (MIS as well as MCS), performance evaluation etc.
Increasing the Company's cyberspace reach and brand equity through well crafted and extremely cost-effective Viral marketing strategies.
Self motivated, target oriented, able to handle extreme pressure, market savvy.
Very Important - Must have strong experience with setting up distribution channels for financial services & products.
Very Important - Excellent contacts with financial product distributors at national as well as regional level (small, medium as well as large).
Very Important - An active database of such distributors would be a definite asset. Similarly, the ability to source updates to this database would be a great asset directly and also through consultants and outside agencies.
3+ years of experience. Demonstrated contribution and career growth. MBA preferred but not mandatory.
Understanding of web marketing and analytics as well as Viral Marketing is desirable.
