Overview
Interior Define is taking a dramatically different approach to sourcing & selling high-design, high-quality furniture. We’re a unique blend of startup: one-part established ecommerce business and one part emerging / venture-backed brand.
At the core of the business sits our deep-rooted passion to deliver a superior user experience in the remarkably stagnant furniture market. Our unique supply chain enables us to serve customers with a highly personalized product at an exceptional value.
While our supply chain / product capabilities differentiate our brand, our eCommerce storefront will serve as the consumer-facing heart of the business. Without the appropriate systems, we are unable to deliver on our unique offering, scale to new category (and consumer) segments, or ultimately become a leading eCommerce furniture brand.
The CTO will play an incredibly important role in the success of our existing business and formation of our new furniture brand / storefront. We are looking for a unique individual to manage dynamic responsibilities.

monitoring systems and applications
proactively / preventively administering systems and maintenance

have held a CTO or lead engineering role at another ecommerce brand
have 8+ years of experience: managing in-house developers, outsourced developers and product managers (although, we will consider exceptional candidates at various levels of experience)

Skills
are proficient in all aspects of systems engineering – understanding how to develop features as well as ensure performance, scalability, availability and security
