Overview
Cater2.me is a profitable early-stage startup that connects curated food providers with individuals ordering for group meals and events. Having started in the winter of 2010, Cater2.me is growing fast with a strong base of food partners and clients throughout San Francisco and the South Bay.
You will have the opportunity to be an instrumental team member of an early stage startup with an established partner network and largely untapped market opportunity.
Candidate will play a crucial role in expanding Cater2.me’s current client base. You will work directly with co-founders and will be responsible for identifying target sectors, revising / creating collateral to enhance sales pitch, contacting and signing up new clients, and thinking strategically about market opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a competitive, self-motivated team player who is excited about growing businesses. The candidate should be outgoing and have strong interpersonal skills as well as a demonstrated ability to sell. You should be ready and willing to discuss new ideas and opportunities to expand Cater2.me’s client base. We’re looking for a candidate who won’t accept anything as is and is always looking to improve the way they work and the company they work for.
Candidate should be ready to work hard and play hard. Those who aren’t excited about building businesses and lack the drive to make an impact need not apply.
Responsibilities
Identifying key sectors and managing potential client lists
Improving CRM guidelines for the company
Developing overall sales strategy with co-founders
Proactively creating new marketing materials to aid in sales process
Mining personal network for potential leads
Sales calls
Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close
Experience
Minimum of 2 years in sales (experience more important than education background)
Experience in startup environment is a plus

Compensation
Base Salary & Commission. Potential for equity.
