Our test is now prescribed by physicians for more than 2.5% of all births in the United States.

As a Clinical Account Executive, you’ll be in the field representing Counsyl and working with physicians to integrate the most technologically advanced carrier screen into their day-to-day workflow. You’ll be the mini-CEO of your territory, responsible for your territory’s P&L and expanding your base book of business.

You’re polished, analytical, and know how to energize potential clients. You think that healthcare is way too expensive, and want to show the world why it does not have to settle for the status quo.

We are hiring clinical accounts personnel across the country with a focus on the following metropolitan area(s):

- Syracuse, NY
- New York, NY
- Los Angeles, CA
- Orange County, CA

Please note that all new personnel will be posted at our South San Francisco HQ for at least 1-2 months before entering the field.

Responsibilities
Prospect: identify, evaluate, and reach out to potential clients
Close business: consistently grow your territory and book of business
Travel: expectation of 60-80% field travel in your territory
Experience
3 to 5 years experience in a sales position, preferably SaaS, diagnostics or healthcare services
Proven track record of exceeding quota and high performance in sales
Skills
Excellent speaker: you can articulate a pitch clearly and concisely
Outstanding writer: you can capture your audience with a few well-written sentences
Determined closer: “I’ll think it over” doesn’t cut it for you
Analytical: you obsess over metrics, pipelines, and close rates
Technically savvy: you’re familiar with Google Apps, including Docs, Spreadsheets, and Presentations, as well as Salesforce.com (or similar CRM tool)
