Co-Founder / Partner: Core Software Developer

at Tag Me In in San Francisco, CA   —   Apr 08, 2014   |
Overview
Tag Me In is an open platform for any group that shares a schedule to pool their resources and make sure all bases are covered all the time. If you took Facebook Groups, Google Calendar and Eventbrite, shook them up in a container, sprinkled the mixture with some gambling, you would still fall short of how great Tag Me In really will be.

Tag Me In is in its infant stages right now, and development has just begun. We've realized that we could use a fourth partner in getting this baby walking on its own. The three of us (Lindsay, Debbie, and Tess) work about 10-15 hrs each per week outside of our full-time jobs, with one of us about to begin working full time in November. We're looking for a fourth person that is interested in working part-time with us as the lead developer to round out our existing skills as a team (software architect, UI designer, product/project manager).
Responsibilities
Work with the rest of the team to translate our thorough specifications into working code.
Lead the development of the application layer
Contribute technically and creatively to the team
Experience
Be a self starter, motivated and enthusiastic.
Working on complex web development projects.
Have examples of projects you have done outside of your full-time job.
Contributed to open source or experience developing/working with open source software
Skills
Any and all would be great:
Web Services Frameworks
Website Development
Dynamic Websites
Tomcat, Apache and Java frameworks
Web Frameworks like django (python) and zend (php)
Mashups using Google Maps or Calendar api, or other api's like Yelp and/or Facebook
Have a strong passion for web standards, writing elegant code, and doing this *correctly*, however you define it
Education
If you're good at what you do, it won't matter one way or the other.
Compensation
Equity: Be the fourth in our partnership agreement
