Co-Founder (w/ experience selling to attorneys)

We are looking for a someone with a sales and legal background to help lead our sales effort. This person will be one of the founding members of our firm.

Tilliance is a startup consulting company that serves intellectual property attorneys. We have relationships with the heads of all of the leading intellectual property law firms in the country and a proprietary database of high tech expert witnesses who are leaders in their field; many have worked for Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, Google, and many other of the leading tech companies. We create value by developing close relationships with attorneys' and providing them the analysis or testifying experts that they need for patent litigation (think; recently sold to WestLaw).

We've provided expert witnesses that have been used in cases concerning:
• Network authentication software
• Smart phone technology
• Hard-disk drives • Cable TV
• Wireless Telecom patents
• Gaming technology

We leverage technology to increase efficiency and the value of our services. We plan develop a proprietary database with additional features useful to patent attorneys
Selling to attorneys can be tough. If you're sales minded, highly proactive and a strong communicator, you can be assured of a driven, stimulating environment which values recognition and financial reward.
To apply, you'll have experience of the full sales cycle: cold calling, lead generation, building client rapport and closing sales. Preferably, you'll have had proven success in concept based selling, talking to key decision makers at law firms. We are looking for not only a great sales/business development person, but also someone who can help build-out the firms' processes and structures. Thus marketing and operations experience is a plus.
3+ years experience cold calling, prospecting, and turning leads into paying clients
3+ years of professional consultative sales experience selling to executives; surpassing all quotas
Experience working with legal, financial, or other types of service professionals
Experience selling to and/or working with attorneys
Experience working at a startup or company with less than 20 employees
Demonstrated leadership skills and networking skills
You will have leadership skills, be entrepreneurial and be comfortable working and achieving company goals with little direction.
You are mentally tough, have no cold call reluctance and are not inhibited by rejection
Have a passion for networking and connecting people to create value
Interest in intellectual property, specifically patents
BA (MBA and JD are also nice to haves)
Base + Commission, Equity position
