Today’s leading synchronous e-learning products are downright awful. Teachers are forced to change their teaching styles, learn new technology, and can take as many as 12 sessions to get used to using the products. In the end, it only leads to a poor student learning experience. GatherEducation changes this by completely eliminating the technology adoption curve that keeps so many of the best teachers from moving online. We use the Microsoft Kinect to allow any teacher to teach online naturally without juggling technology. Anytime, anywhere on any device. We make it drop dead simple for a teachers and students to interact online as they would in a physical classroom space. We are Boston-based and our founding team consists of experienced entrepreneurs from the gaming, technology, design, and education sectors. That’s enough about us!
