Community Manager Internship with Livefyre

Overview
Duration: 8 weeks, beginning on June 3rd; 2-3 days per week (negotiable)

Community Management has become much more mainstream over the past two years. Companies are realizing the importance of talented individuals with people skills coupled with a grasp on technical knowledge, that these folks are often what separates the good products from the great companies.

We were buying into that ideal before it was even popular to do so, and if you want to be a part of an organization that puts the members of its community first, then keep reading.

Livefyre is currently active on over 16,000 blogs, everything from the “small-time” blogger to The New York Times and growing by the minute. We’re powering the world’s online conversations and we’re looking for 3 incredible individuals to help us oversee, cultivate, curate, and grow our community.

If you were alone with a brick wall, could you still have a stimulating conversation?
Do you having writing and online communication skills that you want to develop further?

Then you’re in just the right place. As a Livefyre Community Manager intern, you’ll get to put all of your talents to work in a super sweet office in San Francisco with an awesome team doing the following on a daily basis:

- Interacting with the coolest community of bloggers and commenters on the planet
- Writing blog posts and sharing your insights on Community Management
- Join in on dozens of awesome conversations every day
- Meeting other Community Managers and building a network of resources
- Learning how to critique and execute an awesome product pitch
- Developing strategies to increase engagement and interaction
- Eating waffles on Wednesdays and falafels on Friday
- And oh so much more
