Knodium are at the heart of the London tech start-up community, working on an educational product that is going to make a difference to the lives of students.
Location: Google Campus, London
We are looking for a community manager who can represent and promote us to our student users and work closely with our ever growing team of Campus Reps - trusted students in London universities who are promoting and testing Knodium. We are a small team and as such the role is varied, giving you the opportunity to be involved with and influence all aspects of the business. You will run, expand, and give strategic direction to our Campus Reps program, and serve as the gateway between our product team and our users on the ground.
We are looking for a sociable, candid person with a positive and creative outlook and the ability to influence others. This position is ideal if you want a creative and people-based role with all the excitement that a successful and growing start-up has to offer.
Responsibilities
Engage with our community of users on a regular basis, both online and through events.
Lead our team of Campus Reps. They are extremely valuable to us so you will need to stay in touch with them often, organise events for them and keep them informed about how Knodium is doing. Expand the team as Knodium grows.
Establish, track and analyse relevant KPIs.
Develop relationships with university societies, student unions and other strategic partners.
To manage the companies social media including our Facebook page, Twitter and our blog.
To aid in the design and production of promotional material for Knodium.
To feed back to the product team and when required assist with product design.
Experience
Relationship/people skills in groups and one-on-one. Ability to be enthusiastic and persuasive in conversation.
Extremely strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Experience in blogging and social media.
Independent, creative, proactive thinking, "getting things done!" attitude.
Adaptable and bold approach to learning new things.
Interest in start-ups and education.
