Consumer Marketer Wanted for Well-Funded (and Fashionable!) Online Retail Start-Up

You will have the opportunity to define marketing campaigns in a game-changing business, with an integral role on our small team. This is a fun, hands-on, resume-building experience.

Here's the job overview: FashionPlaytes.com is hiring an Acquisition Marketing Manager to manage our customer acquisition efforts. The manager will expand existing channels and leverage new ones to grow the FashionPlaytes.com online retail business. The ideal candidate will have deep acquisition marketing experience in a successful consumer-focused online business and a strong background in data-driven online B2C marketing. Looking for self-starters with expertise in online direct response - SEM, SEO, email, affiliates, etc. and a passion for social media.This position will report to the VP of Marketing.

Here's our story: FashionPlaytes, Inc., (www.FashionPlaytes.com), is the design-it-yourself fashion destination for girls 5-12 years. We're a small, dynamic and well-funded startup that is redefining how girls interact around fashion. FashionPlaytes was recently featured in Redbook and our young designers have appeared on television segments nationwide showcasing their creations. FashionPlaytes was chosen as a finalist in the 2010 MITX Tech Awards and is a 2010 Mom’s Choice Award winner.
Responsibilities
Manage the planning, development, and execution of online marketing channels such as SEM, SEO, affiliate, email, display and other opportunities
Create promotions to drive new users and engagement
Measure, monitor and improve performance by channel to ensure that campaigns are meeting volume and CPA objectives
Analyze key business metrics including traffic trends, signup volume, conversion rates and CPA
Work with freelance designers to deliver high-impact creative
Experience
3-5 years relevant online marketing B2C experience managing online channels (SEM, online display, SEO, affiliate)
Skills
Extremely proactive with a results-driven orientation
Strong quantitative and analytical skills – passionate and savvy about numbers and metrics
Ability to think outside the box and create innovative, low-cost campaigns
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, turning ideas and feedback into actionable plans
Sense of humor and positive attitude essential!
