Overview
You will be SlideShare's public face on our community forums, engage with users from across the world to elicit feedback that dovetails into product design decisions. This position has a mix of responsibilities - interacting with our users through different mediums, curate content on the site (remove spam, categorize content into verticals) and copy edit site text.
Perks include getting to play a lead role in deciding what goes on our homepage ;->), reading feedback emails in Swahili, Hebrew & Icelandic !!! . Desired background - ideally someone who enjoys interacting with people (marketing or communication background might be helpful), must have excellent written & oral language skills (being a blogger is a plus); prior background in social media, mass communication, web design may help.
