Position Description
Ustream, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated content monitoring assistant who will be responsible for reviewing live broadcasted content on the Ustream platform to ensure any technical difficulties are immediately addressed and resolved. The ideal candidate will have a high sense of urgency, a keen eye for detail, and ability to problem solve. In addition, this candidate will be responsible for collecting assets for BD Ops reporting metrics and deliverables. This position is scheduled for off-peak office hours which include evenings and weekends. This is a great opportunity to break into the field of live Internet broadcasting and learn the business. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, reliable, detailed, and driven to monitor content on Ustream, Inc.. This individual must thrive in a start-up environment and must be willing to work flexible hours and must be incredibly focused.
Responsibilities
Overall Customer Support: Working with the Business Development and BD Ops teams to ensure that all broadcasts/lifecasts meet Ustream’s quality standards
Examining Ustream’s content must be executed throughout the entirety of the set monitoring shift
Closely monitor premium events from start to finish to ensure flawless execution
Assist in assembling follow up reporting decks for clients
Act as tech liaison between client and business development team for premium events
Must be willing to work flexible hours that include nights and weekends
Collecting and organizing assets which include broadcasted screenshots, metrics, correspondence, and other related materials
Responsible for administrative duties to support the BD Ops department
Special projects and other tasks may be assigned
Skills
Technically savvy
Strong desire to learn new technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong aptitude for problem solving and follow-through on issues
Flexibility and teamwork are critical. Employee must adapt quickly in a growing, dynamic company
Willingness to manage misc. administrative tasks and responsibilities
Work schedule includes weekends and late nights; occasional special projects may require additional dedication
Must thrive in a start-up environment
