Overview
The Speak 2B Free blog (www.speak2bfree.com/blog) provides resources for spoken word Poets, slam poets and storytellers on how to publish, promote and sell their books online. This is an unpaid internship but it will provide any student interested in writing marketing tips for artists on the Speak 2B Free Blog
Responsibilities
Research, write articles in a conversational style, which engages readers
Edit and create layouts for new features
Use blog as a networking tool to collaborate with people inside and outside the organization
Write 1 blog article a week for blog in accordance with the company's mission to lend people a voice and promote storytelling and spoken word poets (see: http://www.speak2bfree.com/blog)
Use consistent visual image on blogs
Respond to blog comments and emails
Act as liaison between blog readers and company
Promote articles online
Experience
Has experience working as a writer
Skills
Possesses unique writing skills and has something to say
Has different point of view and is not afraid to express it
Writing style should not be verbose
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This is a non paying position so anyone blogging will be doing so for exposure
