Develop and implement phase (s) of ED pro /facility training with diversified workforce
Structure the diversified workforce in training progression by instructing the diversified workforce based on the core competencies model of LogixHealth ED pro/facility educational program
Teach, assess, evaluate and identify comments to project diversified workforce transition to the live production diversified workforce environment
Assist the diversified workforce in training with balancing “quality” of their coding and “quantity” number of charts per hour
monitor daily chart count, and schedule commitment (25 hours minimum)
continuously review the hours submitted in relation to the numbers of charts coded daily
counsel and provide a detailed follow up summary published to the Associate Director of Education and in the Progress Booklet.
New diversified workforce –training set up and transition to live:
schedule and set up new diversified workforce in training orientation in collaboration with Associate Director
send all educational material from LogixHealth that allows the diversified workforce to receive, review and prepare (printing of material) prior to the scheduled conference call with the Education Manager
prepare all materials and provide to the diversified workforce by end of business day (Friday) for Monday orientation
Work with the Manager, Coding Education & Audit to assist in the ease and transition of diversified workforce coder to the live environment
facilitation will be done through direct e-mails of wrap of education;
recommendations on Go-Live support from education;
specifics and time frames
Assist in development of new and updated educational opportunities for the coding support staff.
Prior Emergency Department specific coding background with a familiarity of different types of chart constructs is preferred.
Ability to develop, implement and manage offshore coder training program and transition to live; ability to provide effective counsel to offshore coders.
Ability to organize and prioritize information with a strong attention to detail
Ability to facilitate the education opportunities for established coders
Ability to work with several new coders at the same time
Ability to assess/evaluate skills for many aspects of coder education
Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a stressful fast paced environment
Ability to identify and solve problems
Ability to be flexible and possess a positive attitude while viewing problems as an opportunity for improvement
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients, members of management and employees.
