Corporate Account Specialist

Overview
The Corporate Account Specialist is responsible for all sales activities in their defined geographic territory including but not limited to sales to new customers and additional sales to existing customers. We sell our industry leading agile program and project management solutions to corporations spanning all industry verticals.
Responsibilities
Managing leads, qualifying, understanding need, negotiating, and closing
Achieving and exceeding revenue goals
Providing accurate and prompt follow up within your territory
Managing multiple customer trials through the evaluation process
Delivering presentations and high level demonstrations
Balancing use of calling and emailing to increase success
Communicate impediments and solutions with your management team
Effectively lead and collaborate in a “team” selling environment; including working with Product Specialists, Professional Services and VersionOne Partners
Skills
2+ years of software sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
A passion for consultative selling (selling a fit to customer needs, not just making a sale)
An ability to land new business as a priority and respond to customer growth requests
An ability to work well in a team environment and partner with internal and external resources
Great customer skills: responsive, credible, consultative, and knowledgeable
Solid understanding of the need to utilize CRM in an effective way to follow process, lead opportunities, and create accurate forecasts
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills
Great aptitude and a passion to learn more everyday
Ability to leverage Sales 2.0 to increase effectiveness and efficiency
Experience using Salesforce.com for CRM
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
