Responsibilities
The Business Intelligence Manager is a highly motivated individual and skilled problem solver with a proven ability to deliver while working independently. A primary responsibility of the BI Manager is to affect change by running metric analyses on the business and providing quality information to enable the company to make more informed and better scoped decisions. The position requires strong MySQL technical ability and familiarity with Terminal, SSH and Bash. Lastly, s/he must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills and be attentive to detail.
Experience
2+ years experience
Intermediate level mySQL
Comfortable with Terminal, SSH, Bash
Passionate about using data to create significant business impact
Expertise in defining metrics and dashboards for managers and executives
In-depth experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques.
Skills
Great if you are familiar with:
MongoDB, R, AWS, Ruby, Python, Redis, Memcashed, Pentaho BI, RoR, Linux Sys. Admin “Ubuntu”
Education
B.S. or M.S. in Finance or related field
