Data Engineer (Big Data)

at Caterva, Inc. in Champaign, IL   —   Jul 22, 2014   |
Overview
Caterva (www.caterva.com) is using Big Data, Social Analytics, and Natural Language Processing to revolutionize content discovery on websites. While enough attention and talent has already been focused on acquiring traffic through online marketing tactics and ad conversion, we passionately believe that the best path to more pageviews and site engagement is still great content – and making it easier for each visitor to discover the site content that is most interesting and relevant to them.

As part of our venture-backed startup, you will be part of a team that is helping websites make smarter, more personalized content recommendations for each visitor without the friction of registration forms, voting, or manual personalization. We use sophisticated algorithms for inferring and learning the interests of each visitor.
