DevOps Engineer

Overview
Our DevOps Engineers are key members of the Operations and Engineering teams, supporting an exciting and dynamic company with an energetic start-up culture. We are on the bleeding edge of technology and seek dynamic, flexible and intelligent team members to help us reach the next level.
Responsibilities
Hands-on administration of a hybrid datacenter, including AWS, EC2 and other virtualized assets.
Participate in advancing our configuration management and virtualization infrastructure.
Lead root cause analysis of hardware, software, and network events.
Automate tools and processes for configuration, deployment, build and integration.
Work across the company to identify and implement new ideas; and mature existing processes.
Collaborate with Dev, QA and R&D teams on tuning, expansion, monitoring and diagnostics.
Participate in on-call schedule.
Actively solve problems using modern open source technologies and techniques.
Experience
3-5 years of production Linux experience, ideally with CentOS, Red Hat or Fedora
Proficient maintaining production networking and networking services
Good understanding and practical application of security best practices
Knowledge of full-stack monitoring and its application to troubleshooting
Experience using and extending configuration management tools
Advanced scripting knowledge with Python, Ruby or Bash
Successful track record of assembling production solutions with open source technologies
Knowledge of PaaS production architectures.
