We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing company.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing our automated Build & Deploy tools and environments for Globys’ SaaS applications, using a mix of MS Stack and Open Source products. You’ll also get to work on operational and production support of our applications running at datacenters and customers sites around the world.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing company.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing our automated Build & Deploy tools and environments for Globys’ SaaS applications, using a mix of MS Stack and Open Source products. You’ll also get to work on operational and production support of our applications running at datacenters and customers sites around the world.
Responsibilities
Maintain, support and enhance out automated Build and Deploy systems
Design and develop new DevOps tools and a Linux DevOps environment from scratch
Experience
Extensive familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments
Experience supporting and maintaining Ruby on Rails web applications
Proficiency with VMware ESX, vSphere, and automation via the VMware API
Working knowledge of multiple development languages (such as Ruby, C#, VB, .NET Framework, JavaScript, Bash, Perl, PowerShell, ASP) and tools like Cygwin
Knowledge of Microsoft’s legacy Component Object Model (COM+)
Database fundamentals with specific focus on MS-SQL Server (T-SQL) and MySQL
Expertise configuring and automating a broad assortment of server software in both Linux and Windows including Apache, IIS, MySQL, MS-SQL Server, Postgres, etc.
A solid understanding of software version control using product like SVN and Git
Ability to rapidly diagnose problem configurations and software related issues
BS or equivalent in computer science or related field
5+ years software development experience
BONUS: Experience with configuration management tools in Windows and or Unix environments like Puppet, Chef, CFengine
