Overview
We're looking for a DevOps lead who will work closely with our software developers and sysadmins to get our software to production. We are keen on developing a continuous release process and we need your help to lead and implement. This is an opportunity to add productivity to everyone on our engineering team and to be a jack of all trades. We value those with exceptional technical skills who want to work with others in a fun, challenging, and hard-charging environment, and can make exciting things happen with technology.
Responsibilities
Help with our continuous deployment build-out and manage our deploy tools
Manage build system, artifact repository and dependency management tools
Support our metrics/monitoring system and build new reports/graphs
Oversee our test automation and manage test environments and VM’s
Help with log collection and analysis
Troubleshoot performance issues
Contribute expertise in specific technical areas to the team as a whole
Experience
3+ years of real industry experience and a love for problem solving
Experience with our tool suite (capistrano, chef, puppet, ganglia, graphite, bash, python, trac/svn, github) or similar
Experience in a team-based environment working on commercial software products
Commercial experience with distributed, high-performance systems
Experience with light-weight and/or Agile development methodologies is desired
Experience with databases (MySQL, Cassandra, HBase)
Experience with installation and configuration of Tomcat, HAProxy, Memcached, Hadoop, is a plus
