Until now, I have done all of the tech work to develop and maintain our platform. 30 + charities have used this system to process just north of $2 million in transactions so far this spring. While our existing code is stable, effective, and client friendly, my time has become more limited as we have grown and our other business needs have increased. You would be responsible for taking over both maintenance and new development within our current system as well as be the go-to resource for all things technical to fuel our expansion.
To do this, be prepared to demonstrate your comfort and competency working with PHP and mySQL. While you don't need to know every one of our ancillary technologies, you will also need to give yourself a crash-course on Amazon Web Services, JQuery, responsive design, Apache webservers, PhoneGap, etc. If you are someone who lives on Stack Overflow and GitHub, this will be fun. If you will find and build features that should be there without being asked, are not afraid to act, and can write code in half the time that most people consider possible, you are right for this job.
To apply please send the following:
- The first things that you would do based clicking around the site www.501auctions.com/display and why

- The primary reason why you want to work for 501 Auctions
