Developer (Ruby/Rails)

at Jokket in NJ 08542   —   Apr 07, 2014   |
Overview
We want to bring trust and accountability to the contractor space, but to do that, we need backend help.

Jokket is a local marketplace for freelancers and employers built on one simple trust score. Our algorithm rates employers and freelancers' quality out of 100, taking into account ratings from both parties in order to minimize outlier bias. By tracking discrepancies in ratings over time, we create a dynamic quality score that is as accurate as possible. When paired with real time bidding, Jokket helps freelancers find worthy employers without wasting time, and allows employers maximize quality while minimizing cost.
