Prefer DC / MD / VA / Philly / NYC / or East Coast location.
Experience with MongoDB and mySQL
Experience with building REST and SaaS products (e-commerce/online retail systems preferred)
A passion for small/dynamic teams with fast turn around times
The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Fluency with the Linux command line
Ability to write clean code and use existing code in packages
Web application scalability from the load balancer through to the database
Fluent with Subversion and/or git
It's a plus if you have the additional skills...
OpenGL or other graphics programming in any language
iOS development (Web, apps, even as a hobby)
Android development (even as hobby)
Ruby on Rails/Groovy
ecommerce experience with cart integration & dev
will pay hourly, but prefer monthly flat contracts. possible equity if convert to FT.
