Digital Brand Marketing Manager
Perks Consulting is looking for a high-energy digital brand marketer with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong background in the multi-channel online and offline marketing ecosystem. You understand the traditional tactics that should be leveraged in any initiative and are keen to fuse them with new media and digital platforms or tools. You’re a natural connector, but you are also a phenomenal implementer. What’s more, you are a wordsmith who possesses strategic insight and creative vision. For you the idea of working with start-up and emerging businesses is thrilling, and you also eschew from traditional communication and corporate systems to play by your own rules.
Essential to the success of this position is your ability to conceive, analyze, negotiate and execute a range of brand and marketing programs, primarily in the digital space. You are a strong project manager who’s exceptionally organized, you can dream up high-level strategic idea, and communicate this externally to the client and internally to the team clearly, while identifying the next actions necessary to achieve the objective at hand. From ramp-up to day-to-day management, client handling and account management comes naturally to you.
This is not an agency for people who enjoy being micro-managed. You’ll get to wear multiple hats and assist in many facets of the agency’s internal and client initiatives. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with our internal team as well as external advisors, consultants, and partners in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Initiate, ideate and sell programs through to different level decision makers
Client, partner, and prospect relationship management (communication and oversight) Set high level strategy for internal and client engagements
Oversee strategy and tactical planning for brand and marketing efforts
Work closely with management to support business development efforts
Experience working on consumer brands programs a must. Business or marketing decision maker contacts at brands a plus.
3-5 years brand and marketing management experience with a focus on digital and innovation
Digital immersion is a requirement here, not only do you use the basics (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) but you are knowledgeable on emerging platforms and channels, from sourcing out new beta products to staying on top of new functionality or feature releases from the larger players
A firm understanding of digital development is ideal- we would like someone who understands the development process for digital products and what goes into the development of a website, social media backend customizations, or a mobile app. In general you should be able to communicate the needs of the client clearly to a developer that will take on the nuts and bolts, while also articulating needs and specifications back to the client.
Exceptional negotiation, written and verbal communication (experience pitching new business, partnerships, and/or PR is ideal)
Creative concept development, positioning strategy, and copywriting
