OPOWER is looking for a Director of Marketing Programs to spearhead company’s client acquisition strategy. We’re looking for a creative business-to- business marketing professional with an impressive track record of developing and executing successful marketing programs and campaigns, with significant impact on company’s revenue and market penetration. This role offers the right individual a unique and exciting opportunity to own the company’s client outreach strategy and help the sales team drive rapid market penetration across the US and internationally. We are looking for a dynamic , high-bandwidth marketing professional with an outstanding project management skills, intimate familiarity with all available business-to-business marketing channels and strong understanding of “what works.”
The Director of Marketing Program swill be responsible for auditing all existing programs and developing a new, comprehensive annual marketing plan and budget designed to fuel rapid market penetration. In addition, this role will assume the lead on all marketing programs, including conferences, events, direct mail campaigns, industry partnership and co-marketing initiatives as well as any digital campaigns via social media or email . The key metric of success will be successful sales lead generation in all US states and internationally.
This position reports to the Sr. Director, Marketing & Strategy.

Bachelors degree with a solid academic record, leadership activities
8+ years business-to-business marketing experience, with emphasis on direct client acquisition programs
You have a deep passion for understanding your audience, creating the right message and winning new business
You are highly energetic, high-bandwidth project management with outstanding leadership skills
You have developed and executed numerous marketing campaigns through a variety of communication channels; you have strong opinions on what works, and are familiar with best practices in business-to-business marketing
