Responsibilities
The director / sr. director will play a critical role in developing and leading Pinger's direct sales team and managing successful advertising programs with agencies and advertisers. This role combines the art of leadership with the science of a senior individual contributor. You must have prior success selling mobile advertising to a wide range of clients in a competitive market and an ability to lead a small, motivated and successful sales team. Defining success in this role is simple; you must excel at leading a team as well as qualifying and closing new opportunities over a long and complex sales cycle.
Experience
8-10 years proven success generating revenue and exceeding goals through building, maintaining, and growing strategic agency and client partnerships
Ability to lead a team in a fast paced, rapidly-changing entrepreneurial environment
Ability to educate clients on the current mobile and web landscape by keeping up to date on industry trends
Excellent oral and written communication skills along with presentation skills
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong organizational skills
Experience and comfort with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Sense of humor
Willingness to contribute and build something great
Education
