Overview
UpToUs is a unique online network connecting parents around trusted and local communities such as classrooms, sports teams and scout troops. This is a promising hot area, which represents a huge business opportunity.
UpToUs was launched successfully on August 18, 2008 and was quickly adopted by many parents in the Palo Alto area. We’re looking for a full-time, hands-on marketing executive to grow the user base and help UpToUs scale nationally. The position is also open for strong candidates to take their first leadership role at an executive level.

Responsibilities
Overall hands-on management of outbound marketing.
Management of the marketing team including internal and external resources.
Skills
The candidate must be passionate about startups and consumer marketing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and be familiar with the following:
Education/school/parenting/kids’ sports
Web marketing
Viral marketing
Traditional PR
Guerilla marketing
Compensation
Equity based, at least for the first 2-3 months.
