Responsibilities
Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for all facets of Marketing for our upcoming launch of the Mobile Music product, which will be across the Facebook, Android, iOS, & Microsoft platforms. This is a hands-on role, where the successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of this business, from the high level to the ground level, from improving business models, driving growth in terms of revenue, users, & channels, building & maintaining the product credibility, as well as handling the day to day operations for this segment.

Possesses a strong understanding/experience in Digital & On-ground Marketing
Prior experience in the Music industry is essential, with interest & passion for the music industry.
Ability for frequent travel, as required
Experience in both Talent/Artist promotions as well as Label experience is a definite plus.
Strong aptitude for identifying & determining the optimal way to grow the business
An effective communicator, who is meticulous, analytical, logical, & systematic, who takes pride in his/her work, & is passionate about only delivering the very best.

Scope:
Digital Advertising: Review, recommend & execute engagements, & manage costs & revenues.
Social Media: Develop, execute, & manage highly effective strategy, programs & campaigns across various platforms.
Public Relations: Identify & build relationships & manage communications flow to appropriate channels.
Partner Management: Research, identify, negotiate, & manage effective relationships
Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance on all legal matters inclusive of copyrights & licensing together with appointed 3rd Party’s
Reporting: Implement clear & concise status reporting structures to the key internal stakeholders including budgets, tracking, upcoming activities & initiatives.
Presentations: Develop & present quality business & product presentations for internal & external use
Product Development: Participate, engage, feedback, & support the relevant teams
Skills
Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in marketing for consumer Internet companies
Cutting edge mobile app experience marketing to consumers and overseeing distribution via app stores and app discovery sites
Experience developing marketing strategies and implementing marketing plans in both start up environments and major consumer Internet companies
Facebook expertise, including experience working with Facebook API to understand and communicate with the social graph of users; experience in other Social Networks will be advantageous
Expertise in online and mobile analytics, developing metrics for app usage, customer acquisition and social web experiences
Strong understanding of mobile entertainment and online entertainment products and services.
Experience delivering interactive creative for the entertainment and music industry is a plus
Degree in related discipline with Masters is preferable but not essential; Candidates without the above qualifications will also be considered based on their industry experience & aptitude for the role.
